Two Verallia installations at FICO, the theme park dedicated to Italian gastronomy
Verallia has been an Eataly partner since 2006. This brand gathers together businesses specialized in oenology and gourmet Italian cuisine. Verallia and Eataly share the same convictions about glass, a healthy and natural packaging material that is 100% recyclable forever.
Last November, Eataly opened in Bologna Fico Eataly World (Fabbrica Italiana Contadina), the world’s largest agri-food park. This 10-hectare site is dedicated to promoting Italian gastronomy: restaurants, discovery workshops, delicatessens, orchards and even a model farm with more than 200 animals.
As part of its partnership with Eataly, Verallia created two spectacular installations:
- a giant bordelaise collection of 395 bottles in 5 colors and 8 different models;
- a tree, reflecting the importance of the environment and sustainability, recreated by combining 708 bottles in 5 colors and 10 different models.
Verallia’s industrial setup in Italy is composed of 6 plants (Carcare, Dego, Gazzo Veronese, Lonigo, Pescia, Villa Poma) all located in the North of the country. Verallia Italia’s turnover mostly comes from the still and sparkling wine segments. It notably supports the development of its customers on the export markets, like that of prosecco for example. In Italy, Verallia is also present on the beer, spirits, food and soft drinks markets.
